Fab. Reminds me of the Snatch Wagon V8s in NI. Hearing 20-odd fire-up before a Company deployment was a wonderful, wonderful thing Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Thats done it,
V8 top of my list for the next conversion. Had V8's before. You don't appreciate what you're missing until you hear that gurgle! Staftly |

Excellent! at the risk of hijacking slightly - what shifter set up is that? I'm looking for something similar for my up coming conversion |

It's an RRC shifter, that has been put on a diet, mounted on a custom bracket.
As it's a cable shifter, I don't see much point of putting it in the middle and lose cubby box space! I do have a custom Elite CNC shifter being made... when they get around to it! |

That was exactly why I was asking. Trying to find a manual Disco to pinch the bits from, but the cubby would have to either go totally or be replaced with a much smaller one. I use it too much for that Love what you've done with the whole truck actually |

Cheers , there's a few more bits I'm doing behind the scenes too, it's adapting weekly.
I'll do a full walk around video edit soon, but the best bit is how it drives. It burbles along quite comfily, in 4th, at 'accepted motorway speeds'. More surefooted on wider rims and tyres, Alive -1 springs and with it being a ragtop, not much high up centre of gravity. I'll hopefully get some drive-by videos too.... I just need a willing 'camera twerp'. Let me know what you do Ross, will be nice to see. |

Probably a silly idea at the moment - but with the amount of issues I'm having with the current TD5 I've just about had enough of it
I have been doing lots of "engine conversion" thread research recently - although most of your pictures seem to have gone walkies... probably when photobucket changed |
