The article says he jogs and goes to the gym most days. I love that, an old dude doing what he loves and obviously staying in good nick as a result. I stopped playing at 35, not enough time to train, two small people and a couple of niggly injuries. I now feel rather ashamed Any over 40s on here still playing? Huttopia |

Gave up some years ago, miss it very very much. However, I went down the 'occasional pub match' route which is about the most risky type of rugby you can ever play. Most people over-aged, over-weight, over-confident and overly tanked up. At least they were in the eraly 90s. Very bad neck injury in a scrum and enough was enough. Now I keep to sensible non-contact sports like Alpine Skiing and more leisurely pursuits like cycling up mountains Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |
