Hi LRA

I used the TGE panels to at least infil the bare metal sides to make things look less bare in there. For the wheelboxes I'm still thinking about it.

The future plan will have a full size drawer going in but I'm still working on that.

For the wheel boxes then I'm currently thinking about some basic sound proofing like dynamat then automotive carpet on top to give a nice surface. of course if you needed a more 'wipe clean' then maybe some thin rubber matting set in place ontop. Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest

Thanks for that. I wouldn't go for plying the whole load area but am tempted by the sides. How does it fit at the front where the seatbelt mount is? Darren

Infilling the existing openings in the trim is clearly the easy solution. I'm just interested in alternatives that make best use of the space.

Below the waistline, I'll be doing something very similar to what you describe - sound proofing and a 'finish' of some kind. Maybe carpet but I like BobT's idea of the all-over rubber mat. Darren

I use my 90 for laning and foreign trips. It's evolved over the years various storage ideas have been tried and rejected. The only things that have stayed have been the rubber floor matting, my Waeco fridge mount on the offside wheelbox, a Boab high shelf and a mesh side for the nearside wheelbox made from 1'' box and 50mm steel mesh. Lastly I have 2 12v sockets on the offside rear light cover, one from the main battery and one from the auxiliary battery.
I have Masai blind spot windows in the rear sides on later vertical stiffener sides and I think these stiffen these up enough to not drum too much.
I do think that if you are going to be using it for a variety of uses then less is more.

I agree. I want to retain the flexibility to use it to carry a variety of loads, so don't want things like fixed cages on the wheel boxes. It'll get light and power for both general use and camping but beyond that I really just want to protect the sides and floor. And make it quieter. Darren
