Bloody benefit scroungers.
In order to reduce costs to the taxpayer I propose a one in one out policy. When a new royal is born we get to chop the head off the oldest one. |

Well I am not sure I agree with Zed idea of one in, one out being the oldest.
I have more respect for the older members of that family then the middle / younger ones. The old gaff finally giving up appearances at the age of 97, despite his many foibles did have some form of work ethics. Now if you were voting for getting rid of the middle and lower ranks, then yes bring it on. Brendan |

Now as for the muppets in both houses, let’s just say a fair days pay for a fair days work.
No walking in, signing on and walking out after collecting that days benefits. As for the lower muppets if they can not show they are doing a days work, and looking at the attendance in the chamber some of those should have wages docked. Now as for the local muppets, why should they get paid more then the chief UK muppet. Brendan |

Well Sonarmender, would you like to clarify your vote before you get hauled in front of a court martial?
Is your vote for the boss lady to be replaced by this new baby? If so you might possibly be in front of the firing squad! There again your vote could be construed as being in favour of the boss lady and therefore you might be entitled to another gong. How do you plead Sonarmender? PS pleading the 5th amendment this side of the pond does not work Brendan |

Looks like I started a thread here which kicks up a lot of emotion.
Brendan just completed his 4th post on less than 2 pages. Think I’m going to refrain from commenting further, so let me go take a look if my new hinges need to be greased. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

^^^^^ As Brendan and most of us here work very hard for what we have it gets our backs up when "the royals" have a event of any kind.
We inevitably end up paying for it |

I quite like the Royal family, they bring in tourists and give us something that most countries don't have. I'm proud.
At least the Royals drive proper Land Rovers without bullsh@ KBX crap on 'em. |

Interesting to see the comments being in the US. We have our own form of royalty here and two tiers of the justice system. One for them and one for us.

According to the Royal couple it is the Peoples Wedding or so I have been told for the umpteenth time. I am debating with myself, should I go down to Windsor and watch the street procession as the Royal couple arrive and suitably tug at my forelocks to show the right type of humility to my betters and 'wring me cap in me hands' in humbleness to prove I know my place in society. Alternatively, do what I usually do with such events and give it a wide birth. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |
