Heater hose clamp
Ok guys, I need a bit of help. I just found this floating around the drivers side of the engine bay. Hanging around a brake pipe! Lucky it didn’t drop off completely! I have identified it as a heater hose clamp but my problem is I can’t seem to find where it should go and if the other half is just an identical piece so the two hoses are held together but float free or if it should be attached somewhere!
Any help gratefully accepted!

I have a feeling it goes behind the engine, there are a couple of pipes that run over the top of the bell housing.
