2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Santorini Black

4.2tdi Double cab???

Whilst i was on a trip back to blighty earlier this week,to collect bits for my Series 2,I came up behind a nice looking 110 D/C.It had BIG Range Rover wheels on it,a twin exhaust which exited through the rear cross member & badged 4.2tdi.The badge looked Audi/VW.
So I'm thinking it had a 4.2tdi out of an Audi A8.
I was on an "M" reg.didn't look like a private reg?
I've never heard of a transplant with this motor.
Has any of you guys.
It went very well,thoughsmoked a bit under acceleration.
I was behind in my daily driver Audi A6 Quattro,& had to push on to keep up.
