Transfer case output flange oil seal
I replaced the oil seal a month or so ago and it's leaking onto the handbrake again.
Is there any reason it should be leaking again?
Could a blocked breather mean that the box is being pressurised and blowing oil past the seal?
If so, where is the breather?

Thanks,

There is a breather, a black pipe with a banjo fitting onto the t-box.

It could also be wear on the sealing surface of the flange, a Britpart or other aftermarket flange manufactured out-of-round, worn bearings resulting in radial movement of the shaft, or a bent shaft.

Thanks,
Are the breathers prone to blocking?

Axle breathers yes, but I've not heard of the t-box breather getting blocked before.
