There is a breather, a black pipe with a banjo fitting onto the t-box.
It could also be wear on the sealing surface of the flange, a Britpart or other aftermarket flange manufactured out-of-round, worn bearings resulting in radial movement of the shaft, or a bent shaft. |

Axle breathers yes, but I've not heard of the t-box breather getting blocked before.
