That is one awesome sound track and with a manual gearbox I think Mr Eales was wrong to think it was not right for a land rover Clayton.

Well, it's quite fun on the road, but off road the power is all in the wrong place. And I've found that I can't steer so well with the front wheels in the air. He didn't think the gearbox would survive either, but I'm trying to be gentle with it.

So the poor 110 V8 has been stuck in the garage far too long this year.
So I have decided to sell up and let someone else has some fun I will be putting the advert up in the For Sale Section later today, but I certainly enjoyed getting the V8 fired up again! A Tesla may be faster, but it will never sound this good Fixing Land Rovers for over 25 years..........and making excuses to the wife for almost as long 1984 110 V8 - Gone, but not forgotten.... |

Thanks. After all finally getting SWMBO agreement to keep the 110 and I have had to face up to reality. I just don't have any spare time to play with my Landy anymore and leaving it in the garage is just torment!
Time for a new hobby....Land Rover watching Fixing Land Rovers for over 25 years..........and making excuses to the wife for almost as long 1984 110 V8 - Gone, but not forgotten.... |
