(I understand why you don't post photos though) I can't help with values though. A friend of a friend has a Series 2 Carmichael up for sale soon, but don't know a value yet. Personally for me I'd prefer an original V8 rather than a fire engine conversion. I watched a Tophat video on LS3 conversion in USA yesterday and the base vehicle was a Carmichael V8 seemed such a waste to then convert back to standard SW. if its an ex aviation fire engine be careful - AFFF is very corrosive and areas around premix tank overflows can corrode very badly - ask anyone who's restored a Range Rover 6x4 TACR2.
If its ex local authority it should be fine, apart from rust in all the usual places, normally servicing is second to none. keith |
