Suli, I think you’ll find a significant number have left to find another employer! Even so, that doesn’t mean that those left shouldn’t feel aggrieved when their pay, conditions and pensions are eroded unilaterally. Other workers can rely on some protection from trades unions and take industrial action. Police are forbidden from being members of a trade union and striking is illegal (thankfully). Anyway, that’s my rant over. I’ll get my coat.
