Installing a working light
I plan on installing a Wipac working light on the rear of my defender. The light has a built in switch so I am going to wire it with a fuse to the purple speaker wire. I am wondering what is the best way to drill the mounting holes so the paint isn't damaged and what are the best sealing options for the mounting and wire holes.

Be careful just connecting to a wire in the rear speaker box if the light is halogen bulb. If the bracket is similar to the Lucas oem work light then the bracket is folded in a way to allow the cable to be tucked underneath and concealed under the bracket so as to help prevent water ingress.
