Headlight surrounds and grill
I cant make up my mind which headlight surrounds i prefer. I had the standard 90xs grills and surrounds on mine when i purchased it 6 months ago... they were silver grills on my grey defender but i wasn't too keen on them. I purchased some KBX surrounds and grill and had them colour coded, but have now put my original grills in to be colour coded... but have also seen the heritage grills colour coded which i also like the look of Neutral So many decisions Confused

Just ordered Santorini headlight surrounds from Dan for mine to replace the Brunel ones. Already has the black grill. Looking forward to them arriving next week. Rob

Had exactly the same dilemma myself. Colour coded Brunel, KBX, etc. In the end went for Urban grill and vents.

Hmm, going to get a couple of quotes to see how much the body shops will charge to spray my Brunel grey ones Santorini... it'd have to be cheap though as if I bought Santorini ones I could sell my existing ones for £40-50 Whistle

Personally not a fan of the KBX. I do like the heritage grilles but also think colour coded standard grilles look spot on.

United Kingdom 2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black
I didn't care for the Brunel look on my Santorini Black XS, so I replaced the grill with a Nakatanenga version.

For the surrounds, I bought a couple of cheap unpainted black ones off eBay for around £10 each and spray painted them with a tin of Plastikote satin black.

Works well with Santorini Black bodywork and after 3 years of winter weather and jet washing, the paint is still OK on the surrounds.

I thought abut painting the Brunel grill and surrounds but then decided they were best kept as original in case I or any future owner wanted to put the Defender back to original spec.

I chose these more discreet Naka headlight surrounds --the vehicle will soon be resprayed green.
