Aux battery hook up best practice

Hi Forum,
I have my Aux battery ready to go in and this raised a few questions.

Amp runs direct fused to Aux battery ( all good here) there is a power live wire from the stereo head unit which when on will activate the amp ( all good)
The question is around operation. Supposing I was in need of a mid street rave (

) I would want the head to run its power from the aux without key in ignition, again ok..
But for the lion share of time I would want the stereo head to operate with Acc ( eg on and off as per normal)

I Guess a Aux rocker switch would be the simplest SPST or similar but before I commit to wiring put it out there for comment and akterbatives

I've got a rocker switch (a Carling in one of Mud's dash mounts by the steering wheel) that switches things like my CB radio and USB outlets between ignition live and aux battery. You run the output from the middle of the switch, then the two different power inputs to the "out 1" and "out 2" terminals.

The other way you could do it is with a relay and a normal on/off switch. Common goes to the head unit, normally closed goes to the switch to the aux battery, normally open either goes straight to a battery or to an ignition switched source. The coil is then fed from an ignition switched source.
