I saw nylon sleeved wheel nut sockets mentioned in a thread on here a little while ago and will confess that I'd never heard of them before. Anyway, as my new 110 is fitted with some very shiny black Sawtooths, it sounded like a good idea and so I've just picked this up from good old eBay:

It will work with my standard 1/2" drive wheel brace and torque wrench, though and I thought it was pretty good for £6. Thanks Stacey 007 I have now ordered one.
I plan to remove my Black sawtooths this week and treat them to some Wonder wheels wheel sealant. The Wonder wheels product seemed to have the best reviews with Auto Express mag when tested. 2016 Defender Landmark 90 2005 Defender CSW TD5 90XS |

I have the same socket as above. (Sealey)
Still use it, only thing I’ve had is the plastic sleeve partially crack! Not enough to make it unusable, but annoying though all the same $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Here's where I got mine, although appear to be out of stock at the moment:
