Personally, I love the twin wheel one my Mum has - other family members like it less

This one:
https://www.wickes.co.uk/Chillington-Count...L/p/167429 With this in the tyre: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SLIME-8oz-CYCLE...XQMTlRa86m Or change the wheel to a no flat: https://www.wickes.co.uk/Haemmerlin-Pneuma...0/p/140648 We are running that barrow, with that non flat wheel now. You'll get a pretty good life, don't go non galv though just a pity the whole thing isn't. My dad bought a two wheeled one, it's awful.
Not manoeuvrable, the wheels are set too far back, it's just awkward to use. Even if the wheels were further forward it would still be a no. I much prefer the single wheel one and no one likes the two wheeled one. The off road performance is bad, it twists and wrenches your hands, just don't do it. Haemmerlin are good. Buy a bigger one than you think you need, you can always put less in it but it's a pain if things fall out. |

Click image to enlarge This takes a bit of the strain out of barrowing....! Interesting handling though ...! We use the green inflatable wheel haemmerlins, great well balanced barrows, canโt remember the last time we punctured one, they get bloody hard use too. I always thought the twin wheel ones were designed to be pulled, not pushed?

Best wheelbarrow I've ever had - a B&Q one borrowed from my Dad for a couple of days...6 years ago.
New wheel & tyre, new axle, new body mounts after weld broke on originals,. Used nearly every day and still going strong |

As I have a on on this bank holiday
I read more reviews on the double one, I decided against. So Wicks it was with the Chillington County Galvanised Wheelbarrow 120L Click image to enlarge Did a click and collect, thought it would be flat pack but no, it was built and with grips for handles which was a nice bonus. So yesterday I had some series doors. A defender wheel with a new tyre for series (7.50) and a wheelbarrow in the truck Click image to enlarge |
