Late Season Skiing - For Whom This Matters
If anyone (who cares) is considering a last-minute, end of season ski, go for it. 1m dump coming in this week, indeed falling now, as low as 1000m alt. Could be an amazing Easter with the family or just a quick weekend blast. Most stations staying open to at least mid-April, some into May. Go on, book, you know you wanna.... Thumbs Up Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

What a difference a year makes - last season was pretty weak and this season has been cracking! Thumbs Up

I was looking earlier today. Cheap flights to Geneva still available for this weekend. Very tempting.

I’ll wait until next season. Will be able to ski virtually starting from our new doorsteps then, and that all with an unbridled view of Lake Geneva and the Alps, Mont Blanc included. Cool
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Just back from Tignes Val Claret. I have never seen so much snow in all my 12 years of going to the Alps. The way the streets have been cleared, with huge snow banks (some with wing mirrors sticking out!) is simply amazing.

The locals were telling of ‘snowmaggedon’ when the mountain was closed and people ordered off the streets for safety because there was such heavy snowfall.
