EGT Gauge, needed?
Evening! Just trying to work out if I need an EGT gauge for everyday driving?

My 110 is quite highly tuned (hybrid turbo, big IC, strong map etc...) Decent EGT gauges arnt exactly cheap and takes a fair bit to install properly.

Thanks Smile

I'd say worthwhile rather than needed, especially if you don't know how hot it gets and/or regularly work it hard.

I've looked in the past and would probably go for the madman ems2 rather than an individual gauge.

The Madman gauges are just stupid money now, used to be quite reasonable.

Its all down to my fussy nature Laughing

I bought the MUD pod to mount x6 switches (needed), Stack Pro EGT Gauge & a Stack Oil Temp gauge (to even it out), the pod arrived today and it is rather large, I would prefer the MUD mini pod instead but if I need an EGT then I can't have it lol

My egt cost $100 USD.....

I think you will need it unless you only use defender off-road. It is on highway that you really need to monitor the power output and egt of the little 2.2 engine
