Very carefully cut it out and replace, not cheap but it's incredibly difficult to remove without destroying it. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Thanks Steve. In that case I will most probably just buy a new (painted) fascia. Any idea where i can get a new 12V socket given that I doubt I will manage to remove existing socket without destroying it?

With a screwdriver snap of the 12V socket retaining lugs and it will just slide out the cost of a replacement from eBay is between £3.99 and £4.99 for a complete unit.
I have recently purchased this one and I can vouch for its quality. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sumex-12v-Car-C...2749.l2649 For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |
