Saturday's trip up to the lakes:
It took ages to upload the video - and now I've noticed bad bits of editing .... I uploaded it once before, but re-did it to try and make it more watchable.... That said if you put it to HD and settle down with a brew.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbS6Lq-IjZ0 Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Last edited by Anderzander on 8th Apr 2011 5:27pm. nice shooting. Must confess that the standing about and one by one thing would have driven me insane

Standing about ... do you never take your time and take in the company and the views? one by one ..... aren't most lanes travelled in single file ?? |

Hi Chaps,
Can anyone let on any lanes they know of in the lakes? I can read a map and have just asked Anderzander via PM for any lanes he can recommend but incase he doesn't see PM can anyone help. I'm off up there for a few days and wouldn't mind getting around some lanes, Im not out to trash any of them just a ride out. As mentioned I will have a look on a map but wondered if there were some not to miss? Many thanks guys, Sweep Sweep 2.2 110 XS SW ---------------------------- Gone; 08 D3 XS BN55 WPV G4 4.4V8 D3. That's about 15 minutes from me, know it well. Did you do the lane at the opposite end to the tower? Not the rocky one down from the tower to the car park, but the only right at the other side Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Yes - I'd been in Horwich, so I drove up from that side and down the rocky lane.
I love driving up there on a clear night - the views of everywhere lit up are fantastic. |
