The head gasket was blowing into the coolant side so I took the head off and had it pressure tested. It was ok so I got the head refaced and new valve guides fitted. When reassembled the engine ran well so I drove it to work for a few weeks while I cleaned and tidied up the rest of the van. There was a barrow full of soil in the back and the seat squabs need repairs to the foam and fabric. I began to think that it was too good to break when there was plenty of life left in it.
With the Beast from the East on the way I placed an advert online and it sold within 24 hours and I managed to make a modest profit. Luckily the buyer was happy to view and test drive in a blizzard at night. |

As Henry on Shed and Buried is fond of saying "small profit, quick return"!
I cleared enough to cover a set of Wolf rims that I have my eye on with a bit left over. I won't get near them until late next week so hopefully they will still be available. |

I had two disco commercials back in the 1990's. Thought they were great and looked like a proper commercial only having 3 doors. Inside everything was finished nicely by SV.

The Disco commercials were and still are very popular here. I had a D2 commercial for a few years myself. The one above was probably converted from a passenger version by the importer as it had twin sunroofs and seat belt trim in the rear.
