Interesting chance find!
Anyhow slowly working round the hubs of 2011 110 Puma, coming up 100KKms next service. Near side rear hub wheel off and drive member, to my surprise the 210nm stake nut although retained is finger loose. I discovered the inner oil seal axle had only just started too leak, that’s not a biggie! No actual damage, bearings and seats look good, same as the other side. I will attend the big smoke in the week to obtain seal and gasket. Any idea how this could have occasioned other than some numpty at the factory? Because the have not been off before! Thumbs Up Shocked

United Kingdom 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Stornoway Grey
I had one like that, rear offside. Quite disturbing and hard to explain except by shoddy assembly.

Thanks for the heads up, I hadn’t heard of this before! I’m somewhat disappointed! Surprised
