Back seats gone fluffy!
Morning

Does anyone have any suggestions (other than to replace) how to sort out the seat backs and bottoms on Puma rear seats?
Mine has gone all fluffy, and vacuuming does nothing.

It’s almost like they need a shave! Laughing

I did think about running a blowtorch over them, but that’s a last resort.

The bases are worse, they are starting to look quite tatty Big Cry

Cheers

I have a bristle brush with velcro like material on one side. This is good for shifting bobbles which are not too firmly affixed.
Otherwise have you tried sellotape?

Morning Ian.
I have had similar issues with the carpeting on the back of other car seats. The flocking seems to tease out and you get left with longer strands hanging out unsightly. It may seem like a wind up, but using sharp hairdressing scissors I've trimmed them back flush with the undamaged material and they always come up great. Its a bit time consuming but great if you've OCD. Don't start off with Swiss army knife scissors like I did. You'll go mad ! Try it out and you'll see its not a wind up. I've not got one of those fuzz-away jumper bobble away gizmos that are always advised by JML and the like, but they might also work.
Hope this helps
Regards. Snorkers.

Hi chaps

Thanks for your reply’s and tips. Thumbs Up Bow down

I know it sounds a bit harsh, but I got my blow torch out in the end! Laughing
It actually worked a treat, just a very quick flash over, and the fuzz has gone Very Happy

I probably wouldn’t recommend this on a new motor,
But it’s worked for me Wink

Or you can use a disposable razor.keep rubbing with it until the fluff is gone. Also works a treat on wooly jumper bobbles !

Rolling with laughter in all honesty I didn’t have the time to shave it!

The seats would be better off out of it really, I’ve only used them once in the last 4 years Shocked 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"
