White dogs? Seems to fit with the three piece suits of that McGovern character. Although, just found that add, and those dogs seem not his cup of tea. Gerry seems more the white well trimmed poodle type to me.
Land Rover used to have excellent advertising, even still in recent history. Like below for instance. Eric https://vimeo.com/201482507 You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Same as the latest "youtube/FB sensation" showing the full (very) fat RR racing up some large steps in China...
wow... bet every hillside farmer in Wales is chuffed that they can do that now, far better than towing an Ifor trailer around a grass field. |

It’s this ad I’m referring to....
I don’t even know if they’re supposed to be Wolves, they’re rubbish ones if they are! |

I suppose I have fallen in line with Land Rover advertising
If I want to drive flat out down a mountain I’ll buy a Range Rover Sport If I want to annoy some dogs I’ll buy a Velar Every other scenario a Defender will be perfect for Dave |

alpha dog ??
To me, in every car ad (that I fail to avoid) there is one thing that doesn't seem to fit in somehow: the car... |

I’d forgotten about this ad for the Discovery SVX. No dogs this time but a goat (or is it an Ibex?)
What are they going to use in their ads when they launch the new baby Evoque, a bloody Gerbil? |

^^ That ugly thing (= the Discovery) deserves such a poor advertisement. JLR should not have misused the SVX denomination like that.
There is only one truck worthy of using the SVX name with pride, and it is not because of some cheap orange details. Eric You never actually own a Defender. The thought had crossed my mind. I’d love to make a couple of spoof ads and send them back to Land Rover to see if they’ve still go a sense of humour |

Still my favourite
Having worked with JLR closer than I had wanted, they have moved away from their heritage in search of mass production executive markets bigger profit margins, although reliability still plagues the as before. |
