Carlie one for you
Just had a quote and thinking about it, asked for Greenland cover, but thinking now that I might not need this? As all the greenllanes I do are legal roads anyway so shouldn’t make a difference if I needed to claim? I don’t do any pay and play days etc! Would It make much difference to the premium quoted if this is removed? I’d still be doing Greenlanes just want to make sure I would be covered

Hello!

I know we've had this conversation in the pm's but for the groups benefit:

Some/many standard insurance covers can exclude certain by-ways if not classed as public or are restricted etc. so you aren't necessarily fully covered under standard insurance - you'd have to check with the insurer for a clear understanding in their terms. The same applies with modifications, a few standard insurers will cover a modified vehicle but exclude cover for the actual modifications so this again would be subject to their terms.

We offer specialist 4x4 cover which covers the modifications and covers green lanes / off road / limited mileage and more.. on specialist rates for members as you are enthusiasts.
