Hi Guys & Girls
I know some of you will say why but does anyone know if I will come across any issues by fitting a set of LM 20" wheels to the old girl? ie speedo deviation. Also I've just fitted a set of Terrafirma gas shocks and now I want to lower it by 2 inches, would this also cause any issues? Cheers peeps Life is one big adventure, that's why we have the vehicle for the journey. |

i have not heard of a 2" lowering. i lowered my td5 90 and my 300 tdi by 1 " and the handling on windy roads was greatly improved in my opinion.
pressumably if you did a 2" drop there may be drive train issues because of prop shaft angles? regarding the wheels you will only need to alter the speedo if the overall wheel and tyre circumforance (sp?) if different from the original set up |

We sell a -1 1/2" lowered spring set for the 90, and this does not affect the prop angle. The -3 1/2" springs on my 90 racer most certainly did, but I got around that issue with some other trick suspension tweaks. |
