I think thats been for sale for a while now.
Chassis is easy to sort, either repair or new Richards one. I love 109's, they ride well, nice useable loadbed etc etc But they are hard to sell and worth less than an 88. As it stands its worth very little, if you can get it for the right money do it! |

Slightly OT but my brother and I have had this waiting in store for the last 12 years or so ready for refurbishment. 2a FFR 24 volt. Lovely ......oh and yes it was a handful on the back of my then 300tdi auto disco......

I love 109's but they don't fetch the money of an 88". Harder to store and less of the iconic misty eye'd vision people have of a classic Landy.
I would value it at £500 no more. Worth £3500 completed as a rolling resto 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

A friend for Betsy! Looks like a lot of work from the pictures.
If it’s all there and not been modified too much, it’s worth a punt if you like a project, and I know you do! 109 does ride better than 88, and agree with the soft top comments, makes it much more versatile and fun. I have a young skilled friend who really wants to get into a series and start to rebuild.. could be right up his street if you decide against pursuing... not lots of money but very talented.
I have a slightly battered 109 with a 200tdi, RR axles / diff's great workhorse. |
