Looking good. I love the USW. When our kids have flown that's what I'll trade the 130 for 1951 80" S1 2.0

I had a problem with the rear door not locking on my USW. The problem was traced to one of the cables behind the door panel had snapped. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

I'm thinking it's probably something simple like this, anything else would likely cause am issue on all the locks, however it's going in soon for injectors seals so i may get them to have a look at this issue as it's covered from the dealer. I did notice the doors already have sound deadening installed from the factory as well... Click image to enlarge |

It's a shame they didn't do a 130 version of the USW...imagine all that room in the back! |

Door not unlocking will be broken wires in the rubber boot between pillar and door. It's a very very common fault. Ray

Second that, I changed both my rear doors not so long ago for thicker wire encased in an outer PVC sheath where it goes through the rubber boot and ones gone again! Now: 2010 2.4 TDCi 110 Utility Wagon
Then: 2004 2.5 TD5 90 Hard Top (X-Tech Edition) |

Years ago, I knew a guy that had a 130 USW that was built by Foleys. The back was truly cavernous. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |
