Since the recent updates to fix the various gremlins that have been much published recently, my abilities to carry out any online banking with Natwest have failed. Various reasons like no longer support the browser and try again,(endlessly have arrived.
Am I alone in this, is it me , or is my balance insufficient for the bank to want my business and it all a subtle hint 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue 1967 Morris Traveller 1966 Morris Convertible 2012 VW T5 Camper Quod Abundat Non Obstat. |

Thanks,
I have Safari on my Mac and Natwest say they only support Safari on a Mac ???. But then they do not support it ???. Tried to load Chrome and Firefox but they appear blocked ? Small's Nation wide account is fine. Perhaps it is time for me to move to her bank after 58 years with Natwest. Thanks for your suggestions 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue 1967 Morris Traveller 1966 Morris Convertible 2012 VW T5 Camper Quod Abundat Non Obstat. |

What version of Mac OS are you running?
Recent Firefoxes won't run on old OSs, and while you might be able to install an old browser version, some sites can't connect to them (has to do with security certificates in the background). |

Hello MacFrank
I am running Version 11.0.3 (13604.5.6) whatever that is? Never had these problems with my Abacus, but then nothing connected ! Regards Swine 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue 1967 Morris Traveller 1966 Morris Convertible 2012 VW T5 Camper Quod Abundat Non Obstat. |

Not got a Natwest account myself but your Safari version looks pretty much up to date so should be fine. I've had similar issues in the past with banks, they have a tendency to view anything other than IE as a potential security risk... ironic really !
The version of Safari you have had a few changes around the privacy and cross site scripting that may be causing you some issues... essentially Safari sees your bank as insecure due to something they are doing. If you go into your Safari preferences -> privacy tab you should see a check box for "Prevent Cross Site Tracking" and I believe the default for this now is for it to be turned on. Try turning it off and see if that helps. http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/ |

Most strange. I am not with Natwest either, but my online banking works with the same version of Safari that you are using.
Unless you have a version of OSX prior to 10.9 Firefox should download. Do make certain you are using the Firefox home page to download from. Also with Safari, as davew says, untick cross site tracking, but also check that you accept cookies. If you are using a virus blocker it is worthwhile switching it off temporarily whist you access the Natwest site and see if that helps. It can be a setting in the virus blocker that stops access. Finally if all this fails resort to the lump hammer |

I have found IE to be very, very buggy, so I switched to the Microsoft edge which is a little better, but still can be a little funny. ID be more than happy to switch to another browser, but more than one person uses the pc. Natwest's IT people break everything they touch at the moment. My Dad was unable to make a payment as the box that pops up was too low in the screen for him to select the buttons. No amount of using TAB or scrolling would allow it to be visible. In the end the only solution was to switch the browser to full screen.
