Backdoor central locking

Hi all,
I’ve got central locking on the front two doors of my 90, so I was just wondering if I bought a later style lock could I then attach the actuator to this, or would it not fit.
How have others added central locking to the back door?

get the centrol locking rear door catch e-ba-

has a hole in the top plus pivot and rods

I just stripped my existing lock, drilled a hole in it and used the steel rod which came with the actuator to connect to the internal lock mechanism. Then pop riveted the lock assembly back together again...

Has been working well for 4 yrs now.
