Thanks for posting
That looks lovely, what are your plans for it, Do you know much about it’s history? A quick wipe over, and change the plugs, you’ll be good to go Good to see there are still some nice ones about down under, A fair few seem to be finding there way back here now. Cheers Ian 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

To cut a long story short I bought it off a property manager who bought an estate in country Victoria. They found the 80 in a shed and I bought it off him. I got an R061 stored overseas but this R866 will be definitely a keeper. Full restoration is planned despite the nice patina. Unfortunately I have to work on my 107 first as this one is in pieces and takes a lot of space, so don't expect any updates on the 80 soon! m

Do you still have the rear PTO?
I see you have the selector fitted, it looks surprisingly complete for an Aussie one Looks like it had an A frame at some point too? I love the history of these 80s down under, they always seem to be worked to death, and then a bit more 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. It didn't have any PTO attachments. I got a capstan to go on but consider putting it on the 107 instead, keeping the 80 light and nimble
