To raise funds to purchase my first home, I’m having to make some tough decisions and I’m selling some items that I’d much rather keep.
My roof tent does not get used enough to justify it staying. It has been slept in less than 10 times since new! The tent is in superb condition. Please read the link below for technical details and specs, it is listed on the Maggiolina website as their “top of the range version”. http://shop.autohome-official.com/en/maggi...orest.html Three Manbo roof bars are included in the sale. https://www.boab.biz/acatalog/MANBO-ROOF-BARS-AND-PACKAGES.html The tent cost 2,989.00 euros and the roof bars £299. I’m looking for £1750. Last edited by 1978 on 24th Feb 2018 3:06pm. Edited 5 times in total |

Hello there,
The tent measures 2100x1300mm, it's the small version, suitable for two adults. Mine is the new version with the revised windows, I've added a couple of photos of the tent on my Defender to the first post. If you click on the 'Technical Details' tab on the Maggiolina site below, you'll find all of the dimensions and specs you require. http://shop.autohome-official.com/en/maggi...orest.html Yes, I'd sell without the bars if you don't need them. Please let me know if I can help further. |

Back up for sale as the buyer has suddenly gone very quiet.
Now on eBay. Thanks for all the interest so far. |

Glad you sold it
It looks a cracking bit of kit and if I'm ever in the market I'd be looking at something similar. Hope you got a good price for it |

Thanks mate, much appreciated it went for £1850 minus eBay fees in the end so I’m ok with that.
I’ll be buying another in a year or so when I’ve bought a new kitchen and sorted various other issues associated with buying a 17th century house! |

Crumbs - sounds like you will have your work cut out. I hope you don't uncover too many unwelcome 'historical features.'
It's a shame you had to sell it to fund the house purchase but I guess we've all been there. I must admit that until I read your post I wasn't all that taken by roof tents, but having seen your Maggiolina I have to say I am impressed. Best of luck with the house and look forward to your post when you buy the new roof tent |
