I really don't know much about Gimbals but I think I need one...
I have a Nikon DSLR , an iPhone 7 & Go -Pro & A Mavic Pro. I realise i can use the Mavic as a hand held video camera utilising the on board Gimabl. Does anyone make a Gimbal that can be used by the DSLR , iPhone & the Go Pro OR am I best in just concentrating on the GoPro & the iPhone and , if so , any recommendations to either steer clear of OR to buy. Use - mainly walking & filming , some motorised work off-road , hover crafting. Thanks Guy May your life be like toilet paper ; long & useful. |

I also doubt you will get a gimbal that will do a dslr and an iPhone etc
I use an Osmo plus with a Z-axis and get tremendous results I’m thinking of getting the mobile gimbal to attach to my grip to allow Periscope / Facebook live/ YouTube live broadcasts Let us know how you get on & what you go for My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years. |

I'm looking at them for my DJI Phantom. to hold a No Pro camera
As others have said DJI do hand held ones for phones etc The last house I sold the agent used a hand held gimbal on a bridge camera not even a DSLR and the walk around video of the house including walking up stairs was great it was a cheap version not a 'make' Similar to this in looks https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUAL-GIMBAL-Han...SwCU1Yvqsm |

Been having a play with this today.
Once you understand the different modes which you have to toggle through ( so you can access Mode 1 to Mode 3 or vice versa IF you can remember IF it is one press of the mode button or two.....) Potentially could be a problem if you need to switch quickly between modes. Otherwise this is a pretty amazing bit of kit. It really does urn an iPhone into something rather special. The Go-Pro bracket is a beautiful bit of engineering & outstanding value for 10 quid. I have just ordered the remote ( bluetooth remote) so that I can use it on an elevated pole or tripod. It is has quite a number of additional features such as filters/time lapse /slo mo& follow mode ( smart object tracking). Downside ... It has an internal battery so you can't swap it out but it does last 12hrs AND you can charge your smart phone from it whilst it is use. So really not that bad. And if you buy it on Amazon you have a month in which to try it before you would need to return it for a refund. Highly unlikely that I will be doing that. I am off making videos for my website. I've had a Smooth Q for a couple of months, haven't had much chance to use it but the times I have it has been impressive Cheers Ian
