Alarm and imobiliser
The other night i returned to my 2.2tdi to find neither of my fobs working, on opening the car with my key no central locking. when i put the key in the ignition no turn over but triggered the alarm..
AA came no joy tried several things ECU read; fault code/s:System : Engine control - 7MF / Diesel CR/EDC ZSD 422 Status :B1206 - Crash data stored. Error Message : Malfunction
Flat beded it to my local LR garge they have told me £2k to replace the alarm module(fried was the terminology) and some wiring.
Any ideas in the Bromley, Kent area?

Check all the fuses first. My wife had the same on her my15 double cab and according to the aa man a wiring break in the b post to door wiring had blown a fuse causing the same problem. I can remember which fuse it was but it was in the under dash fuse box. Ray
