Not seen that on a TDCI before,
Defenetly water/condensation and oil? Do you use it regularly or just short trips, Is it parked up for long periods? The only vehicle I know suffers badly with this, is anything with a Vauxhall engine, And it’s caused by condensation. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Its used daily but only for vey short trips to and from work. (only a couple of miles to work)
Coincidently the turbo actuator packed in during the summer and I was told short journeys would have probably helped cause this. I've been trying to do longer journeys at the weekend to allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature but the damage has maybe already been done. Any ideas where the oil would come from? coming back round from the EGR? Thanks, Scott |

Most probably from the engine breather (the reason why many of us fit Provent devices or catch cans).

Thanks for the replies.
I've had a look through the threads about the Provent 200 but some of the photos are now unavailable. Don't suppose anyone has some pictures of a 2.4 tdci fitted with one? Thanks, Scott |
