As a retired insurance surveyor, I've inspected a few. To quote sponsor Branden, look at specification rather than price, avoid cheap Chinese and names like Dunlop, try for a Tecalemit or Bradbury, check the load nuts and welding, don't be put off by the age, good luck. Time is precious, waste it wisely...

We have a rotary 3200kg lift. Works a treat
It's 3 phase and cost about £1000.
