I have had one of those fitted for a couple of years also bought from Lidl. I placed the sender behind the front bumper. Batteries last about six months. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Flamin Lidl!!!
I've just wasted 30 minutes trying to find anything on Car Care products on their websites! Looks like they don't like Scotland, at least they don't like Fife! They obviously don't want me to try shopping at Lidl for the first time ever! |

Oh, that's absolutely BRILLIANT! I can't thank you enough, even if they don't have any left!
I'm just going to pm you! |

I bought two last time they were in. Wasn’t impressed to be honest. The internal and external sensors give different readings when side by side and you can’t read the screen in the dark or at much of an angle.
I’ve an unopened one if anyone wants to give me a couple of quid for the postage. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS |

If 'Enid' finds they've run out, I'll definitely take you up on that!

Bought mine today, seems a fairly simple piece of kit, the display matches my (much more expensive) Oregon scientific weather station when hung out side window.
Would be worth £2.99 for the clock, mine is a basic 90! 80" 1948 Lightweight V8 Bowler Tomcat 130 Station wagon 90 300tdi (Santana PS10 pick up) Range Rover L322 (Ful fat) |

Used one in Spain last year on SWMBO’s Soft top, sensor under wing mirror arm. Didn’t like it above 35°C, the display failed but came back on as the temperature dropped. 2010 Defender 110 Station Wagon, Santorini Black.

Click image to enlarge My Oregon Scientific sits above the passenger door. External sensor under spare wheel cover. It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this. SIII CSW Safari, limestone, (JAC 914N). Where is she now? It's not a car, it's a way of life! |
