Hi everyone.
So I went and bought myself a Puma 90 2009 defender. Only had it 10 days and only done 15 miles in it so far. However today I took it out and after about 5 miles the engine started to rev a bit differently and then cut out. It did not want to start much after it cut out either. The engine would turn over fine but just did not want to start. Anyway it kept doing this every 300/400 meters till I managed to pull into a garage.
So I left it at the garage and asked them to take a look.
When the garage phoned back about an hour later they said they had been driving it around for half an hour and it was fine.
What they did find when they plugged the computer in was the variable valve was seized on the turbo and the EGR valve was seized to. ......would this be the cause to my earlier stop start problems? I am no michanic so go easy on me!
Very anxious to drive it with out sorting it out.
