2016 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Aintree Green
LUGGAGE PARTITION LR006448
Afternoon,

I've got my hands on a cheap cheap Cargo Guard for my 110, it's a used one.

The only problem is that two of the brackets are missing, I've tried searching everywhere to find someone selling them.

It looks like they'll be easy enough to fab up, but I'm being lazy. Before I get the kit out to make some up, does anyone if I can purchase them anywhere?

Highlighted in green below.

Cheers

Order a complete new guard from Land Rover then take it back because the brackets are missing......

They no longer sell the bracket kit separately anymore.

Hmm. I have one in my 110 and I can't think where those brackets go. Have you tried fitting without them.

Zsd Puma that’s a nice approach to take, I imagine you would be pleased to have this done to you if you ran a small business? No doubt you feel because it’s Landrover it’s acceptable to steal from them? No wonder one site sponsor has rolled their eyes at you and your attitude. Thud 2015 HT XS 90

Can you send a complete new guard please Dan? Thud Rolling Eyes

Sockpuppet - They fit at the top, where the roof joins the body. It's currently fitted without them, it's ok just rattles about a bit.

I'll fab something up. The spawn of AndrewS

I'll take some photos of mine / take some measurements if they are there. I can't for the life of me think where they go.

I have the two above that fitted to the body by the alpine windows. I took it out a few weeks ago and zip tied all the parts to it so I'll go and check what is there.

Are these not made for Land Rover by Travall? Might be worth contacting them directly?

Yes they attach up by the windows, if you could take some measurements that would be a great help Thumbs Up

1978 - Thanks for the heads up, I'll get in touch with them Thumbs Up The spawn of AndrewS

They look fairly easy to make up out of some sheet metal

Just a point - having been stung with needing a bit from a fixing kit...its annoying to have to spend £££ on a complete fixing kit or whole part just to get a bracket. there has to be a better way Mike

Yep, that's the next step. A forum member has kindly agreed to dimension theirs up for me Thumbs Up

mse - I agree, there has to e a better way! I've tried hunting someone down to supply me some of these brackets for a while now, but had no luck. I'll have to make some 'man brackets' up our workshop instead Thumbs Up The spawn of AndrewS

Ok so I've found mine. They're still installed on the windows. I was unable to get exact measurements as they're hiding behind the trim. I'm removing the trim this weekend for another reason so will take exact measurements then.
