ditto but if you can afford it they generally dont loose value, they also have M240 BMW which for the right car would look good DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

There is a nice plate on there G90RGE with a reserve of £250 now do I know anyone called George on this forum

I've watched a few of these,
They generally go for a fair bit more and watch out for buyers fees, Vat etc... I always like to look, but more plates that cars currently...although they have stopped the £25 a year retention fee |

A lot of the £250 plates are good, I would rather have one than standard.

If the plate is on the vehicle, there never was a retention fee. The only time retention came into it was when you didn’t have the plate assigned to a vehicle but wanted to retain the right to use it. This used to be an annual fee; however, a few years back the DVLA changed this to one, small fee, which allowed you to keep the plate for a decade (iirc) if it was not assigned to a vehicle. |

Not that it has anything to do with this auction, but came across the number plate LR90LRX the other day...
...on a Skoda Yeti... So sad... Perhaps I should of offered the lady £250 for it... |
