Do like a white D4. Like most vehicles in white after my old days of following the WRC gravel cars.
Beck evans looks to have bought some ex LR vehicles which have all been on a similar 20k journey. Maybe ex LR experience? http://www.beckevans.co.uk/used-car-detail...564251214/ 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

OV , OY & OW registration prefixes are commonly JLR demo vehicles (Experience);normally a high spec , so HSE Lux would be the norm, this does however have surround camera system, but no rear screen
So a high spec hse , high probability it’s an ex Experience motor My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years. |

I'm inferring from all the that ex LR Experience cars aren't a good thing?
Forgive my naivety / ignorance, but why not? Surely these will have been very well maintained, regardless of how they may have been driven? Dirty Deeds - Done Dirt Cheap |

The risk of a snapped crank means the value just nose dives so you'd be mad to buy one imo. I would like one, but won't risk the money. V8 90...WIP

The snapped crank isn't LR experience only and is only with a few? 1951 80" S1 2.0

No indeed in the first point. But on the second, there appears to be no way of knowing or preventing it. At between 1 and 2 percent of vehicles, and LRs own warranty now giving problems recovering the eye watering replacement costs, it's pretty difficult to justify the risk. I would buy one in a heartbeat If I could prevent it. V8 90...WIP |

They're ex-LRE.
I've got the twin of those sitting on my drive now. Amazing motor. An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |

On my last visit behind the scenes to an LR dealer where I was working, they had three of them in various states of repair. All snapped cranks or spun shells, I don't remember which now as it was probably two years ago. V8 90...WIP
