starts with 'St...' ... rather than clog up the thread with lots of wee posts, it's actually Stornoway. Waiting to board the ferry back to Ullapool. Absolutely glorious crossing, calm and with clear skies and sunshine.
Run back from Ullappol was pretty good too - 5th or 6th car off the boat, so only a few judicious overtakes to do to get a clear run and give the new LED spots a good try out. Tested the mast stand and mast ready for the 2m UKAC contest on the 6th Feb. The mast stand is a home made jobbie that you drive onto.
Replaced drivers side seat belt ready for MOT on Thursday. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Got rid of my old square fog and reverse lights and changed my indicators to clear... Eventually I want to go for the twisted look but this will do for now.

Gave it a birthday wash (bit premature but needed).
Then set to work on fitting the Gwynn Lewis outrigger mudshields and mudflaps. The drivers side original fell off the bent bracket in my hand (I knew it was bad but not that bad) and then had to set about the bolts holding the bracket on with a grinder to get them off. Anyhow offside front is done so tomorrow it is on to the nearside and both rears (also all on bent brackets and somewhat clinging on for dear life). 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper. Sadly it seems it's just two individuals that are spoiling the good efforts of the rest of them, but I bet they'll have no concept of why they are talking to management Monday morning.
But yes easy to see why people hate dealing with them 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |
