Already running 265/75/16 km2 and want to go bigger diameter up to 255/85/16 , but 265s are already tight so wanted to know if any body had them fitted on standard wheel carrier.

I have a 265/85/16 on mine but a little concerned about the door hinges breaking due to the weight of the tyre

Have always had 265/75/16 on my land rovers over the years, never had any issues with the hinges but on my 300 tdi I did have the door underneath the wheel carrier crack. The later trucks with the steel doors don't seem to suffer the same .
I do like the look of your new boots Djcla and tempted to go for the same when replacing mine later this year. ![]() Nick |
