I came across this old thread, me and the wife were discussing what we might call the new 110 xs. Then the thought occurred to me, I've never named any other car or motorbike only my land rovers. There's been "Animal" the series 3 88" v8 conversion, "Norman" the ex-military 109 and now it looks like the new one will be "Wilf" after Major Sir Wilfred Thesiger, the man who Sir Ranulph Fiennes calls the worlds greatest explorer.
What's yours called??????? |

Mrs Grenadier has constantly referred to it as 'The Beast', (wholly unoriginal, I know) which given she is a shade over five foot and drives 'The Mooch' (Mini) is understandable. Her willingness to call it the beast means that all our friends (including three other Defender owners) now call it The Beast, so it has stuck.... Monsieur Le Grenadier
I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |
