Hi blackwolf. Sorry to see that your new covers have ripped. I have a full set of canvas covers in my Td5 90 from Climate Covers. I also experienced design faults with these, although they are specific to the vehicle, they haven't been fully thought through. It seems that this may also be the case with the Exmoor Trim covers that you have. It looks as though the covers in yours simply haven't been designed for the back seat to tip, which is something of an oversight to say the least! Strange that they allowed the hole for the mounting, but forgot about the fact that it moves!
Hope you manage to get a refund / replacement from Exmoor Trim anyway. Sorry that my reply isn't particularly helpful, just had similar issues with other covers that don't take certain bits of the vehicle into account. I doubt that genuine Land Rover ones are any better designed, maybe . . . |

An update: I have heard back from Exmoor Trim, a very prompt reply to my enquiry. Apparently there was a patterning problem and the first covers manufactured would rip if tipped. This problem has been resolved, but unfortunately the covers I received (from a retailer) were the old design. Exmoor Trim are going to supply a replacement set FOC.
All credit to Exmoor Trim for their prompt, helpful and courteous response! |

Good news there then! Glad you got it sorted out so quickly and efficiently, if only all companies were as straight forward to deal with!

Yup, I have to say full marks to both Exmoor Trim and Brookwells of Plymouth and Bovey Tracy (from whom the covers were purchased) - both companies have been totally 100% helpful and customer focussed and I cannot fault them in any way! It will be my pleasure to take my business back to both on every opportunity in the future.
The new covers have been promised for Monday, which, seeing as they didn't know about the problem until this morning, is first class. It is nice to be able to rave about good service! |

Cant fault Exmoor Trim on their customer service.
I had a slight problem with one of my front seat covers, only minor, the plastic ring around the headrest shaft apeture had come adrift. One call to them and they were all set to send a replacement cover there and then! Had to persuade them to just send a replacement fitting for me to clip back on myself. Top company for sure Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |
