Second service
I picked up my Heritage today following its second service (6500 miles). I decided from the outset to go independent. The cost was £274, using all LR parts and the correct spec fluids. The only note was a leaking swivel housing, which can be done under warranty although not sure I can be bothered with the admin.
Two years in and all is well. 👍

After two years of good behaviour obviously it will fall to bits when the warranty runs out 😂

Glad you got a bargain...
Sounds a little too cheap to me though. Neutral You only have one life, live it....forget the cost.

The only difference is the labour rate, so no it isn’t too cheap.

I wouldn’t leave your leaking swivel housing get it done under your warranty it will only get worse. Is your main dealer understanding when it comes to do warranty work? 2015 HT XS 90

Listers Droitwich are my closest but I can’t cope with their chaotic service dept, so Shukers Ludlow it will be. I think they all struggle to get sense out of LR ref approving warranty work, it must be a real pain for the dealers too.
