Bulkhead/chassis ?
In case I end up with one that turns to dust when I get it over here and start using it daily. Can you buy a replacement bulkhead and chassis for the Defender?

I searched and found repair sections, but didn't find complete units for sale.

For a chassis try

http://www.richardschassis.co.uk/

For bulkheads

http://www.ashtreelandrover.com/

Could be expensive getting them to Canada.

I bought a galvanised chassis and galv bulkhead from the links that Bob posted. Good service from both, but be aware that Ashtrees bulkheads aren't normally new. They are usually second hand, having been repaired and then galvanised. Though the one I got was apparantly a new one from a TD5.

OR before it turns to dust strip it down and get your chassis and bulkhead galvanised over there? think the cost can be quite prohibitive
