what is balance pipe ? Embarassed ....I'm thinking of acquiring one aux fuel tank very soon....

It's a pipe cunningly designed so that should you get a hole in one of your tanks it makes sure both/all your tanks empty themselves on the floor.

if the output from the aux tank to the main tank is not at the very bottom of the aux tank you end up with a residual amount of fuel - 5-8L on a side tank? stuck in the aux tank below the output.

Old thread but to update,, The remaining fuel in the aux tank, below the outlet to main is 13 lts for the Front runner aux tank California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

surprised me when you said that the other day too, now a way to get that out without an exposed Balance pipe..... or drilling into main tank below the chassis!. Cheers

Actually, its not that exposed, as the forward mount bracket covers the balance pipe outlet, (as i have used, not as a balance pipe, but feed for the Webasto) If needed, i can get that last 13 lts out of the aux tank California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

i meant the other end of the pipe being exposed as it would need to enter the main tank below its aux exit point which seems to mean below the chassis rails as chassis is in way of anywhere else. Cheers
