I have been given
 a Webasto Thermotop V because my friend couldn't get it to work. I have done some research and found that it is the same as fitted to Discovery 3's. It is not controlled in the same way as the C (by applying 12v to [pin 2?]) But via W-bus signal.
Basically I'm looking for help from someone who is much cleverer than me to help me write some code to run it with an arduino or microcontroller. I can handle the physical fitting (although any pointers are greatly accepted) There is a video on YouTube of a guy who has an arduino running one but I want to simplify his code to work without all the LCD screen and buttons. If there is an off the shelf solution to this problem then I would much rather that! The quicker I can get it running on the bench the quicker I can have pre heated loveliness and faster warm up times
