So it seems i can't sell the old bus had it up for £7400 with a reserve of £6750!.
bids went to £5550! 165 watchers!!!! everyone that comes to see it are put of by tatty paintwork and unfinished interior! so not sure where to go from here. options are. 1. keep trying someone will buy it. 2. take off all the accessories and upgrades (£1k worth) and re advertise for £6k ish 3. up grade interior spend £800 ish on new newer seats sell for £8k ish (not my fav idea as paint still issue) 4. put new doors on 2nd row get all4 doors sprayed (costing 1k ish) do interior sell for £9k ish been watching other 300tdi where bids hv been up to 10k almost and not hit reserve biggest lesson learned, people want aesthetics over a solid mechanically reliable car. Patches of the market look tough. Shukers in Ludlow have a 90 Autobiography with 36 miles on the clock up for £75k. I’m guessing they wouldn’t be advertising at that if they didn’t think they would get close to it. What were they £60k new?

The problem is anything over 5k and people want finance
Apparently not many folk these days have a mattress full of notes. Disposable cash for the working classes is at an all time low 😩 I do hope someone gives you exactly what you'd like 👍 |

I would suggest taking off some of the aftermarket bits and returning to standard. Namely the steering wheel, vents and led's. Then reduce to a price you would be willing to sell for. Edit: Oh and stick some seat covers on and give it a really good scrub and polish. |

I would agree with the above. If I wasn't looking at building a Tomcat next year id be interested because it's a project which has had all of hard work done, however you need to advertise it in a manner that appeals to someone who wants to make it there own. Doors/interior/paint are all items which require cash more than graft, so I suppose people are looking at this as a 10k spend rather than 7.4k.
Also the actual colour is a bit of a barrier as there are less people who want burgandy than black for instance but there's not too much you can do about that! 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW 1956 Series 1 Hard-top 1958 Series 1 Soft-top |

I'm currently waiting to hear back from a job interview, but if all goes well I will be in touch about this. Always been a fan of it! Do you still have the utility sides for the rear?

The hell man!
You cant go selling it you have put so much into it! Honestly, if you put it back as a USW it may sell a bit better as its a bit more unusual and the colour matches. But don't do it! Its such a great truck! Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Some people are more attracted to bling than substance. The fact is its cheaper to add bling to a solid car than it is to get welding done to chassis and bulkhead on a car that looks like its been covered in glue and driven through Halfords front window.

if it were a chunk cheaper I'd be interested. Happy if the extra bits were removed to get to that point. Would be looking to repaint it and make it cosmetically ok (thought not going for perfect) and so there's about £2k of work there already - makes it a hard sell at the current price point.
