Paddock Spares Wheel cover
Their spare wheel cover seems good value, particularly the one with their name on it at £20. The unbranded version is £28.

Is it good value or cheap rubbish?

I've had one on my double cab for about 8 years and another on my csw for around 6, held up very well, the plastic part fades with age but that doesn't take much to put right. Overall very pleased with them, especially for the price Thumbs Up

I brought one and it doesn't fit a 265 75 16 properly, it was also kinked in the plastic disc when it arrived, you get what you pay for.

It would probably fit a 235 85 16 okay 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW

As above, it's a struggle to find wheel covers that will fit over a 265/75/16. I have the genuine LR moulded plastic one with 'Defender' across the middle. I can just about make it fit with lots of struggling with the elasticated 'skirt', but it leaves the bottom rear edge of the tyre visible. The moulded plastic 'disc' bit just isn't quite big enough to fit over the shoulder of the tyre. This is particularly the case with BFG AT's, as they have such prominent shoulder blocks and a very square shoulder.

But as Kit says, if you have standard 235s, you shouldn't have a problem with fit. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Should have said in my earlier post, they are both 235 85 16 and fit fine. Not experienced them with other sizes

Had one for years and looks as good today as when new, just the odd polish now and again with black wax keeps the colour. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Thanks for the replies, it's for a Goodyear wrangler 235/85 16 so should be ok. Current Steeds:

I have one for mine too, 235 MTRs. Very slightly loose fit but I think excellent value for money!, you could buy a lot of them for the price of the genuine part - comes packed in a huge box (thankfully not a plain blue one though! Laughing )......probably cost you the best part of £10 if you had to send it yourself. MY15.5 110XS CSW

The spare wheel cover was a present for my sister, so It's only just been opened.

Comparing it with my genuine LR cover, the semi-rigid disc is identical. However, the skirt part on my cover is 9" from the edge of the plastic disc to the elastic whereas the Paddock one is only 6" deep. We didn't try to fit it to her wranglers in case I need to send it back, but I reckon the elastic will be only about an inch inboard from the corner of the tread. I've emailed Paddocks to check if we have the right one and not the one for smaller tyres. Current Steeds:

Had a Paddock cover for 2 years and it even fits (just) 285s, I bought the one with the logo as I am tight! Jeff
